Reactoonz 100: Slot Overview
Reactoonz 100 is an addition to developer Play’n GO‘s growing collection of 100 slots. Generally speaking, these are remakes of classic slots that are beefed up and bolstered by new or stronger features such as Sweet Alchemy 100, Moon Princess 100 or Rise of Olympus 100. When it comes to Reactoonz 100, the key add-on is a rising win multiplier, making collecting winning symbols an even more edge-of-the-seat experience. Most of the remaining features have stayed constant, meaning players are still able to look forward to cascading wins, queued features and the Gargantoon climax.
As well as mechanical changes, Reactoonz 100 has had a graphical shake-up as well. The background, in particular, is much more galactic than before. Objects float on either side of the 7×7 grid; a snoozing Garga is there too, as is the new multiplier trail on the left-hand side, sucking in winning combinations and rotating as its value climbs. Despite any and all changes, Reactoonz 100 is as charming as it ever was, on account of all those cute one and two-eyed Toonz crowding the play area.

With a 10 out of 10 rating, Reactoonz 100 is a highly volatile slot, producing the familiar figure of 96.2% as its maximum RTP. From 10c to $/€100 may be staked on each spin, where winning combinations are created when 5 or more matching symbols are connected to each other in vertical or horizontal directions. Winning symbols are taken from the board, creating spaces that are filled by symbols dropping, providing another opportunity to make a win.
Four one-eyed Toonz are the low pay symbols, while four two-eyed Toons are the high pays. Clusters of 5 OAK are worth 0.1x to 1x the bet, going up to 1.5x to 100x when hitting 15+ OAK. Wilds substitute for all symbols. They can never be chosen as the Energized symbols and wilds are not affected by Quantum features.
Reactoonz 100: Slot Features

Reactoonz 100 features list is made up of Energized Toons, the Quantum Charger, Quantum features, the Gargantoon, Instability, and Fluctuation.
Energized Toon
Each cluster containing an Energized Toon is multiplied by the current multiplier. The position of the Energized Toon is initially selected at random when the multiplier reaches x2, then a new one is chosen on each cascade. One-eyed symbol wins increase the multiplier by +1, while two-eyed symbol wins increase it by +3.
Quantum Charger
Winning symbols charge the Quantum Charger meter, and a feature is queued after winning with 25 symbols. Up to four random features can be queued while the fifth feature is always the Gargantoon. Queued Quantum features trigger when there are no more wins:
- Implosion – transforms 3 to 6 symbols into wild symbols while destroying all adjacent symbols.
- Incision – puts a wild symbol in the centre of the grid and creates two intersecting diagonal lines of the same random symbol.
- Demolition – destroys all one-eyed symbols and all matching symbols.
- Alteration – chooses one random one-eyed symbol, and all matching symbols turn into another symbol. Other symbols will be chosen if no one-eyed symbol is in view.
Gargantoon
The Gargantoon is always the fifth Quantum feature. When triggered, the Gargantoon appears on the grid as 8 wild symbols in random positions. When no more cascades are possible, it becomes two 2×2 wilds. When cascades end, it becomes a 3×3 wild. The Gargantoon can never be an Energized Toon.
Instability & Fluctuation
On every non-winning initial spin, there is a chance of 4 to 8 wilds appearing on the gaming area. Moreover, a one-eyed symbol type is randomly chosen each round to be the fluctuating symbol. If the highlighted symbols take part in a winning cluster, that cluster creates two wilds.

Reactoonz 100: Slot Verdict
100 slots tend to stick quite closely mechanically to the originals while making one or two tweaks that contribute to drastically altered winning potential. Reactoonz 100 follows this script, while being a nice reminder of how fun the original game can be. Play’n GO struck just the right note with Reactoonz all those years ago, releasing one of online gambling’s finest cluster pays slots and has returned to the Toonz crew on several occasions since, in games like Gargantoonz, Gigantoonz, and Dr Toonz. None of them, including Reactoonz 2, have managed to outdo the original, and Reactoonz 100 might not either, but it’s a decent remake, and it’s not difficult to imagine some gamblers actually preferring this one.
For starters, the moreish way consecutive clusters hit, winning symbols are collected, and a bunch of useful features queue up, is alive and swinging. Now though, Reactoonz 100 benefits from a rising win multiplier being applied to cluster values – not all clusters, let’s be clear, only those containing Energized Toons. As a further compensator, some of the cluster values have decreased quite noticeably; the most valuable symbol’s 15+ hit has dropped from 750x to 100x, for example. However, this has not affected the game’s winning potential, which can now, theoretically, be as high as 10,000x the bet – the second largest figure in the Toonz family, beaten only by the eccentric Dr Toonz. Again, that’s advertised potential on paper – the reality is very different when speaking of PnG slots.
Other changes of note are the exclusion of the Giantoonz feature, possibly it interfered with the win multiplier, and the reverse way the Gargantoon merges from smaller wilds into larger wilds. Otherwise, the gameplay is very comparable to the original, which is a positive thing, as are the new mechanical and aesthetic upgrades, making Reactoonz 100 a must-see for Toonz fans.
