Alleged ATG Casino Glitch Lets Swedish Players Cash Out Thousands – Company Denies Issue

Swedish gambling operator ATG is under fire after users claim they exploited a major casino bug to cash out thousands of kronor – all without depositing a single cent.

According to dozens of posts in a now-viral Swedish forum thread, players discovered a bug in ATG’s Blazing Cash slot game (and allegedly other Blueprint titles) that allowed them to spin and win real money despite having no funds in their account. Reports suggest users were able to withdraw up to 20,000 SEK per day via Swish, Sweden’s popular instant payment service.

“My friends managed to pull out between 10,000 and 250,000 SEK,” one user wrote. “One of them already booked a trip abroad.”

Screenshots of Swish payouts, group chat messages, and personal anecdotes are piling up across social media and forums, with some claiming ATG has since locked affected accounts. However, many users had already cashed out portions of their winnings before accounts were suspended.

In response, ATG temporarily took several Blueprint casino games offline. Press spokesperson Camilla Hasselström told Aftonbladet, “We can’t see that any money has disappeared, but we are double-checking and have therefore shut down Blueprint slots while we investigate.”

That hasn’t stopped speculation from exploding. Some argue players may be forced to repay the funds, drawing comparisons to past ATM or banking glitches where users were legally required to return money withdrawn in error.

Others, however, claim ignorance or believe ATG has no legal ground to demand repayments if players acted in “good faith.”

“So just because we finally win on slots, we get punished? The real villains are the operators, not the players,” one user said.

Despite ATG’s denial, users continue to share detailed claims of how the glitch worked, suggesting the system may have failed to check account balances before allowing real-money spins – essentially offering unlimited free spins with real payouts.

As of now, it’s unclear how many users were affected or how much money may have been withdrawn. What is certain is that ATG has a public relations problem on its hands – and a potential legal one as well.
